A long due update

Wow, it has been some time since I did any kind of update for the game.

This does not mean that it has died, just that I could not find the energy to give the proper feedback (bad me).

Since the the last Alpha update, I've been fixing some bugs that were reported and "processing" the feedback that I received, since this has been the first time so many people had the opportunity to play.

The feedback was in most part great and to be honest, I don't think I could have hoped for better, so I'm pretty motivated to continue to work on it, until the last test, I was pretty concerned that may no one, except me wanted a game like that.

On a more technical note, this week I was able to have most of the weapons with the new UVs inside the game (still need to apply the textures and effects in some of then), thanks to the help of great friend of mine, as I have PTSD from Blender (Tks William :D).

Another important step was too migrate the game to new engine version (Godot 4.1 -> 4.2), this should not change too many things except for a little improvement in load times.

What is next?!

If you played the game, you probably noted that the enemies are...to lack of better word...dumb. The AI is very basic and mainly consists of ...see enemy..go there and attack. That are some other stuff but nothing major, and...the code is a complete mess.

To improve this, making the code a little less bad and give me the possibility to make the enemies a little smarter, I will be migrating the code to use Behavior Trees, something that I should have done a long ago, but believe me when I say the current code is bad, I will quite a task to rework it.

This I will probably take a while, so don´t expect to hear about it for some time...but....expect to hear some more updates very soon. :D

Meanwhile, if you like the game and want to support its development, please share it with your friends or drop me some support on Patreon or Ko-fi.
